La calle de los burdeles existe aquí desde aproximadamente 1900, entonces bajo el nombre de calle Espíritu Santo. Se considera una de las calles de burdeles más antiguas de Alemania. Es un callejón sin salida con una pantalla de privacidad. Se encuentra al noroeste del centro de la ciudad, a unos 200 metros al suroeste de la Universidad de Duisburg-Essen y a 300 metros al noroeste del centro comercial Limbecker Platz.
