Il Porto della Scienza di Magdeburgo è un moderno quartiere cittadino a Magdeburgo. È nato dall'ex porto commerciale, che nel corso del tempo ha perso la sua funzione come punto di scambio. Il Porto della Scienza è un luogo di musei, scienza e ricerca. In futuro, dovrà essere collegato a imprese, residenze, servizi e, grazie alla sua posizione sul fiume Elba, anche a tempo libero e turismo.
Il Porto della Scienza si trova nell'area dell'ex porto commerciale a nord del centro città di Magdeburgo, nel quartiere Alten Neustadt, direttamente lungo l'Elba e a circa 700 metri a est dell'Università Otto von Guericke di Magdeburgo. Sull'altro lato dell'Elba si trova l'Università della Scienza Applicata di Magdeburgo-Stendal, raggiungibile attraverso il ponte nord dell'attigua B 1.
