Warnau è una frazione e un distretto della città anseatica di Havelberg nel distretto di Stendal in Sassonia-Anhalt.
Warnau fu menzionata per la prima volta nel XIII secolo. Nel 1838 ci fu un grande incendio che distrusse quasi l'intero borgo, inclusa la chiesa. La chiesa fu ricostruita nel 1841. Dal 1º luglio 1950 al 14 ottobre 1993, Garz fu un distretto di Warnau e successivamente tornò a essere un comune autonomo. Il comune di Warnau faceva parte della comunità amministrativa di Elbe-Havel-Land e si trovava nel distretto di Stendal. Con l'incorporazione a Havelberg il 1º gennaio 2005, Warnau perse la sua autonomia politica.
