Roßbach è una frazione di Braunsbedra nel Saalekreis in Sassonia-Anhalt in Germania. La località si trova a circa 15 km a sud di Merseburg, vicino all'uscita 26 dell'A 38. A nord si trova il Lago Geiseltal, il più grande lago della Sassonia-Anhalt.
La località è diventata nota a causa della battaglia di Roßbach del 5 novembre 1757. Roßbach appartenne fino al 1815 all'amministrazione wettiniana, in seguito all'ufficio di Kur-Sassonia di Freyburg. A seguito delle decisioni del Congresso di Vienna, la località passò alla Prussia e nel 1816 fu assegnata al distretto di Querfurt nel distretto amministrativo di Merseburg della provincia di Sassonia, a cui appartenne fino al 1952.
