La stazione principale di Merseburg è un punto operativo della linea ferroviaria Halle–Bebra e delle ferrovie secondarie collegate a Querfurt, Schafstädt, Halle-Nietleben e Leipzig-Leutzsch nel territorio comunale di Merseburg in Sassonia-Anhalt. Fino al 14 dicembre 2019, la stazione portava il nome di Merseburg.
La stazione di Merseburg è stata inaugurata il 20 giugno 1846, quando Merseburg ottenne il collegamento con la linea ferroviaria Halle – Weißenfels. Questo fu il primo tratto inaugurato della linea che in seguito si estendeva attraverso Weimar, Erfurt e Eisenach fino a Bebra. I lavori di costruzione iniziarono già nel 1845. A Merseburg furono costruiti un edificio per le spedizioni, un magazzino merci, un rimessaggio per carrozze e due stazioni d'acqua. La stazione fu progettata come un impianto suddiviso in direzione nord-sud, composto da stazione passeggeri e merci. Esse sono collegate tra loro tramite il binario della linea verso Leipzig-Leutzsch.
