Il Teatro dell'Opera di Chemnitz è il principale sede delle produzioni di musica teatrale del Teatro di Chemnitz. Fu costruito dal 1906 al 1909 a Chemnitz, l'architetto era Richard Möbius. Si trova nella piazza del teatro, tra i vicini edifici del Museo Reale Alberto e della Chiesa di San Pietro.
Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, il teatro dell'opera subì gravi danni, ma fu ricostruito dal 1947 al 1951.
