Il Colditz Glider, noto anche come "Colditz Cock", era un aliante progettato da prigionieri di guerra, che nel 1945 doveva servire per la fuga dal campo di prigionia Oflag IVc nel castello di Colditz.
L'idea di una fuga con un aliante venne dai due piloti Jack Best e Bill Goldfinch, che erano stati portati nel fortemente sorvegliato castello di Colditz dopo tentativi di fuga da altri campi di prigionia. L'ispirazione al riguardo proveniva dai new entry Tony Rolt, un noto pilota automobilistico britannico e dopo la guerra pilota di Formula 1, e David Walker.
