Il castello di Fuggers Babenhausen nel mercato obersvabbico di Babenhausen nel distretto di Unterallgäu è la sede della nobiltà sveva della famiglia Fugger-Babenhausen, elevata allo stato di principi imperiali nel 1803. Il complesso del castello con giardino, edifici amministrativi e agricoli annessi, è protetto come ensemble.
Un castello - nello stesso luogo dell'attuale castello - è stato menzionato per la prima volta in documenti nel 1237. Questo castello era, insieme al dominio di Kellmünz, concesso ai signori di Schönegg in feudo dai conti palatini di Tubinga. Successivamente, il castello passò in possesso dei signori di Rotenstein. Heinrich von Rotenstein vendette il castello e il dominio nel 1363 al conte Eberhard II di Württemberg. Questi a sua volta lo concesse in feudo al cavaliere Schwigger von Gundelfingen e dal 1378 ai signori di Rechberg. Da questo periodo deriva la parte più antica del castello, il cosiddetto Rechbergbau. Nel XV secolo venne perso il diritto di città.
