La stazione di Harlingerode era una stazione di transito nell'ex comune di Harlingerode. Serviva come punto di sosta sulla linea Oker–Bad Harzburg.
I lavori di costruzione dell'impianto ferroviario iniziarono il 15 luglio 1910. La stazione fu inaugurata insieme alla linea ferroviaria il 1° maggio 1912 nel ducato di Brunswick. L'inaugurazione della stazione fu celebrata con grande entusiasmo tra gli abitanti; così uno dei primi passeggeri della linea e l'unico passeggero che scese al nuovo punto di sosta fu solennemente accompagnato dagli abitanti attraverso il paese. Molti residenti decoravano il paese come "festività" per celebrare l'evento storico per la comunità.
