La frattura di Bochum è una cava di calcare chiusa dal 1958 a Wülfrath. A differenza della vicina cava di Schlupkothen, anch'essa chiusa, in genere non è riempita d'acqua. Nel 2006, il Club Alpino Tedesco ha ottenuto un diritto d'uso per la cava, permettendo quindi l'arrampicata durante tutto l'anno. Attualmente, solo pochi parti della parete sono disponibili per l'arrampicata e l'accesso è contingentato.
