Koblenz, alto sorabo, è un villaggio nel nord del distretto sassone di Bautzen, immediatamente sul lago di Knappensee. Fa parte del comune di Lohsa e rientra nell'area ufficiale di insediamento sorabo nella Lusazia superiore.
Koblenz si trova a due chilometri da Groß Särchen, mentre il centro comunale di Lohsa dista sette chilometri. La strada federale 96 è a due chilometri di distanza. Il lago di Knappensee si trova a nord-ovest del paese, e ci sono anche molti stagni più piccoli e più grandi, utilizzati per l'industria della pesca. A ovest si estende un'ampia area boschiva con predominanza di abeti e pini.
