Il Dreistromstein è un obelisco trilaterale che dal 1906 segna il confine idrografico dei fiumi Weser, Elba e Reno nella Foresta di Turingia. La base è costituita da diversi tipi di rocce caratteristiche di un determinato sistema fluviale: granito, grauwacke e quarzo.
Di fronte si trova il Kleine Dreiherrenstein, noto anche come Dreiherrenstein am Saarzipfel. Questa pietra segna il confine tra i precedenti ducati di Sassonia-Meiningen e Sassonia-Hildburghausen e il precedente principato di Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt.
