Il Vecchio Reno (tedesco: Altrhein o Alter Rhein) è un antico corso d'acqua del Reno nel comune tedesco di Kleef che da Griethausen si dirige verso il Canale Bijlandsch. È anche chiamato Griethauser Altrhein. Il Vecchio Reno è lungo circa otto chilometri. Il Vecchio Reno è emerso dopo la glaciazione di Saale ed è caduto in disuso con la costruzione del Canale Bijlandsch (tra il 1773 e il 1776). Dopo Griethausen (a 7,5 chilometri) si trova un monumentale ponte ferroviario della precedente linea ferroviaria Zevenaar - Kleef che attraversa il Vecchio Reno. Presso Wardhausen (a 5,6 chilometri) sfocia nel Vecchio Reno il Canale Spoy, che collega il porto di Kleef con il Reno. Dopo Griethausen, l'acqua prosegue come canale secondario che piega verso sud passando per Kellen e poi torna a correre verso est lungo Riswick, avendo la sua origine in vari ruscelli e drenaggi tra Warbeyen, Huisberden e Klomp.
