Il 15 luglio 1667 Cristina di Svezia fuggì qui attraverso la porta sul retro della sua residenza presso l'ambasciata svedese. Aveva provocato disordini davanti alla sua casa a Krayenkamp organizzando una festa pubblica in onore del neoeletto papa Clemente IX. Da allora la porta si chiama "Christinenpförtchen". Scomparve nel XIX secolo, ma il vicolo continuò con lo stesso soprannome fino alla sua demolizione nel XX secolo.
