Briesensee, sorabo inferiore Brjazyna nad Jazorom, è una frazione del comune di Neu Zauche nel distretto di Dahme-Spreewald nel Brandeburgo. Il luogo fa parte dell'ufficio di Lieberose/Oberspreewald ed è stato un comune indipendente fino al 26 ottobre 2003. Fino al 1939, il luogo era chiamato Briesen o Briesen presso Lübben.
Briesensee si trova circondato da foreste di pini nella Bassa Lusazia, a circa otto chilometri a est di Lübben, al margine settentrionale della Spreewald e fa parte dell'area insediativa ufficiale dei Sorabi/Wendi. Il territorio di Briesensee confina a nord con Biebersdorf, a nord-est con Klein Leine, a est con Caminchen, a sud-est con Neu Zauche e Wußwerk, a sud con Alt Zauche con Burglehn, a sud-ovest con Radensdorf e a ovest per un breve tratto con la città di Lübben.
