Il ponte sul Reno Rees-Kalkar si estende sul Niederrhein al chilometro fluviale 838,65 a ovest di Rees, come parte della strada federale 67, e sulla riva destra del Reno la strada provinciale 3 da Rees a Reeserward. Il ponte stradale è un ponte a fune inclinato a due spalle nel settore fluviale.
Il complesso del ponte misura complessivamente 982,5 m, ha due corsie e marciapiedi su entrambi i lati con collegamenti al percorso lungo il Reno. L'inclinazione delle rampe è del 1,04%. La struttura è stata costruita tra gli anni 1965 e 1967. È stata aperta al traffico il 20 dicembre 1967. Il ponte è costato 23 milioni di marchi tedeschi.
