Questo percorso transfrontaliero inizia a Herzogenrath, in Germania, dove presto vi troverete nella boschiva zona della valle del Worm, con la sua flora e fauna particolari. Proseguendo, passerete attraverso il Westwall, noto anche come linea Siegfried, e la maestosa casa Heyden. Sul lato olandese del confine, percorrerete la valle dell'Anstelerbeek e il Stadspark. Dopodiché, visiterete il pittoresco centro di Kerkrade con i suoi numerosi caffè e la colorata statua Viva la Vida. Dopo aver superato l'abbazia di Rolduc, attraverserete nuovamente il confine per tornare al punto di partenza passando per il monumentale castello Rode. Questo percorso fa parte della brochure “11 Passeggiate in Europa”, disponibile gratuitamente presso il punto di servizio VVV nel HuB Kerkrade (Theaterplein 30).
