Un buon inizio per questo percorso costiero è il museo "Windstärke 10". Da qui si pedala attraverso il porto e la baia di Grimmershörn fino alla Kugelbake, simbolo di legno di Cuxhaven. Dalla diga si ha una vista fantastica sul mare di Wadden e sulla foce dell'Elba.
Si prosegue sempre lungo le dighe, attraverso la brughiera costiera e la foresta di Werner in direzione della costa del Mare del Nord di Wurster. I pittoreschi porti dei pescherecci a Spieka-Neufeld e Dorum-Neufeld invitano a una pausa.
Al faro "Obereversand" a Dorum-Neufeld cambia la direzione e si torna verso l'entroterra in direzione di Cuxhaven.
Il percorso passa accanto al museo degli aerostati e dei piloti della marina, l'Aeronauticum, e al castello di Ritzebüttel (castello del XIV secolo). Il percorso termina al punto di partenza, il museo "Windstärke 10".
