A good starting point for this coastal circular route is the museum "Wind Force 10". From here, you cycle through the port and the Grimmershörn Bay to the Kugelbake, the wooden landmark of Cuxhaven. From the dike, you have a great view of the Wadden Sea and the mouth of the Elbe.
The route then continues along the dikes, through the coastal heath and the Werner Forest towards the Wurster North Sea coast. The picturesque fishing harbors in Spieka-Neufeld and Dorum-Neufeld invite you to take a break.
At the "Obereversand" lighthouse in Dorum-Neufeld, the direction of travel changes and you head inland back towards Cuxhaven.
The route passes by the Airship and Naval Aviation Museum, the Aeronauticum, and Ritzebüttel Castle (castle from the 14th century). The route ends at the starting point, the museum "Wind Force 10".
