Questa escursione, riconosciuta dall'Istituto tedesco per l'escursionismo, vi condurrà a visitare numerosi resti romani, al castello di Ramstein e attraverso la splendida Butzerbachtal.
Attenzione: il percorso aggiuntivo che porta ai resti e al punto panoramico di Hochburg non fa parte del percorso!
Preferiamo partire dal parcheggio di Butzweiler perché possiamo poi fare una sosta al Castello di Ramstein . Partendo dal parcheggio del Castello di Ramstein, non ci sono punti di ristoro lungo il percorso.
La passeggiata passa attraverso alcuni resti romani: la miniera "Pützlöcher ", il muro "Langmauer" , ma anche le grotte naturali " Genovevahöhle" che venivano utilizzate dai Romani, la " Klausenhöhle" e la " Sylvesterhöhle " . Del Medioevo rimane il "Burg Ramstein" (ingresso gratuito), dove pianifichiamo una sosta con vista panoramica sulla valle.
Altri punti salienti includono il Punto panoramico Genovevahöhle e valle Butzerbachtal con le sette cascate " L'acqua sussurrante".
