Gran parte del suo ampio territorio è montuoso; possiamo trovare altitudini che oscillano tra i 730 m dell'alto del Sant Crist e i 956 m di altitudine di Sant Jaume fino al massimo di 1.100 m della Torreta di Mariola. Ci sono un gran numero di sorgenti, sia nel nucleo urbano che nel territorio, in bellissimi luoghi: la Serra di Mariola, quella di Santa Barbara, quella della Coveta e quella di Ballester; nascono anche due fiumi: il Clarià e il Vinalopó. Ma il tratto più caratteristico del suo paesaggio si trova nella Serra di Mariola, con la sua grande varietà di piante aromatiche e medicinali.
