En stor del af hans store område er bjergagtig; vi kan finde højder, der varierer mellem 730 m ved toppen af Sant Crist og 956 m højden af Sant Jaume op til det maksimale på 1.100 m ved Torreta de Mariola. Der er et stort antal kilder, både i den urbane kerne og i området, i smukke omgivelser: Serra de Mariola, Santa Bàrbara, La Coveta og Ballester; to floder fødes også her: Clarià og Vinalopó. Men det mest karakteristiske træk ved hans landskab findes i Serra de Mariola, med sin store variation af aromatiske og medicinske planter.
