Il torrente La Gavarresa o Gavarresa è un corso d'acqua che nasce vicino al picco di Griells, nel comune di Alpens, nella comarca di Osona, a circa 900 m di altitudine.[1] La comarca di Osona si trova al confine tra le province di Barcellona e Girona.
Il torrente Gavarresa attraversa in direzione nord-est sud-ovest la subcomarca del Llusanés, entra nel Bages da nord-ovest della comarca del Moyanés, passa per Avinyó e sfocia a circa 240 m di altitudine sulla sinistra del fiume Llobregat, a monte del ponte di Cabrianes, all'interno del comune di Artés. Riceve i torrenti di Lluçanès e di Relat, a destra, e quello di Oló[2] e di Malrubí, a sinistra.[3] Il suo regime idrico presenta un marcato componente stagionale, anche se sulle sue acque si conserva il ponte romanico di Sant Martí d'Albars.
