Gavarresa åen, eller Gavarresa, er en flod, der udspringer nær Griells-toppen, i kommunen Alpens, i Osona-regionen, omkring 900 m over havets overflade.[1] Osona-regionen ligger på grænsen mellem provinserne Barcelona og Girona.
Gavarresa åen løber fra nordøst mod sydvest gennem underregionen Llusanés, går ind i Bages fra nordvest af Moyanés-regionen, passerer gennem Avinyó og munder ud omkring 240 m over havets overflade til venstre for floden Llobregat, oven for Cabrianes-broen, inden for kommunen Artés. Den modtager vandløbene Lluçanès og Relat til højre, samt Oló[2] og Malrubí til venstre.[3] Dens vandstand har en markant sæsonbestemt komponent, selvom den romanske bro Sant Martí d'Albars stadig står over dens vand.
