Il Consolato del Mare era un'istituzione medievale della corona di Aragona, collegata al diritto dei mercanti e delle grandi città commerciali. Le sue funzioni erano regolamentare il commercio e gli affari marittimi in ambito commerciale. Di solito erano situati come un'ancora della Llotja, come nel caso di Barcellona e Valencia, mentre nel caso di Palma era situato in un edificio vicino.
