Appartiene al Sistema Iberico ma presenta un orientamento catalanide, parallelo alla linea di costa e ritirato verso l'interno della provincia di Castellón, tra le comarche dell'Alcalatén e della Plana Alta.
È delimitato geograficamente dal Barranco de la Valltorta a nord, il corridoio delle Coves a est, il Pla de l'Arc a sud e il corridoio pre-litorale di Albocàsser dove scorre il rio Carbonera a ovest. Troviamo le maggiori altitudini a 1.078 m s.l.m. e a 951 metri al Tossal de la Vila.
