Il Museo Archeologico della città di Dénia conduce attraverso la storia della città, dagli inizi della sua avventura urbana, II secolo a.C., fino al XVIII secolo. Questo percorso si svolge attraverso una selezione dei reperti trovati nella città e nel suo territorio, più pannelli informativi.
Il museo è ospitato nell'antico Palazzo del Governatore, unici resti del complesso palaziale all'interno del recinto superiore del castello di Dénia. Edificio molto danneggiato durante la guerra di Successione, fu restaurato nel 1984.
