Le Officine di Sants furono costruite nel 1904, quando i tram circolavano per la strada di Sants, con l'intento di riporli nei momenti in cui non erano in funzione. Nel 1984 furono ristrutturate per installare lì un centro culturale, uno dei più noti della città di Barcellona.
