Uno dei mestieri più amati e al contempo più tradizionali delle zone montane, quello del pastore, ha da un po' di tempo un punto di riferimento a Castellar de n'Hug. Il museo del pastore ci fa ripercorrere il passato, il presente e il futuro di questo duro lavoro che ogni estate nella stessa popolazione ha un importante omaggio con il Concorso Internazionale di Cani da Pastore. Gli attrezzi e gli strumenti di questi pastori hanno il loro posto in questo museo, situato nel cuore del comune con la più lunga tradizione turistica della zona.
