Uno de los oficios más queridos y al mismo tiempo más tradicionales de las zonas de montaña, el de pastor, tiene desde hace un tiempo, un punto de referencia en Castellar de n’Hug. El museo del pastor nos hace un repaso del pasado, el presente y el futuro de este duro trabajo que cada verano en la misma población tiene un destacado homenaje con el Concurso Internacional de Perros de Pastoreo. Los utensilios y herramientas de estos pastores tienen su lugar en este museo, situado en el centro del municipio con más tradición turística de la comarca.
