L'Opéra-Théâtre di Metz Métropole è un'opera e teatro con 750 posti situato sull'isola di Petit-Saulcy a Metz, capitale della regione della Lorena, Francia. È il più antico teatro d'opera in attività in Francia e uno dei più antichi in Europa. È anche uno degli ultimi a possedere i propri atelier di costumi in Francia.
Nel 1732, il Duca de Belle-Isle, governatore dei Tre Vescovadi e benefattore di Metz, decise la pianificazione urbanistica dell'isola di Petit-Saulcy, al fine di costruire a Metz una piazza moderna nel contesto dell'Illuminismo. L'isola fu bonificata e furono costruite le scogliere e quattro ponti, collegando la città medievale all'isola. L'edificazione del teatro d'opera fu condotta dall'architetto messinese Jacques Oger. Adiacente al teatro d'opera, la pianificazione urbanistica prevedeva anche la costruzione del palazzo del Re Intendente dall'architetto Barthélemy Bourdet.
