Roucy è un comune francese di 422 abitanti situato nel dipartimento dell'Aisne della regione dell'Alta Francia.Il cavolo era il simbolo di Hugues I detto "Cholet", conte di Roucy dal 1104 al 1160. Il termine cholet all'epoca indicava un piccolo cavolo .Il leone d'argento riprende il simbolo che i conti di Roucy adottarono nel 1304 con Jean V de Pierrepont .I gigli rappresentano le dieci famiglie che hanno portato il titolo di conti di Roucy e hanno dimostrato il loro attaccamento e lealtà alla corona.
