La residenza del marchese d'Huxelles, costruita tra il 1606 e il 1625, ospita il più sontuoso appartamento Luigi XIII conservato in Francia. Caminetti, soffitti e boiserie furono dipinti, scolpiti e dorati con magnifica esuberanza per la favorita della regina Maria de Médicis. Dipinti, arazzi e mobili d'epoca completano questa seducente evocazione della "vita di castello" all'epoca dei "Tre Moschettieri". La visita comprende anche una scala monumentale in pietra (alta 20 metri), una cucina del XVIII secolo e gli sfarzosi saloni del 1900 di un regista d'opera. Il giardino, nello spirito del periodo barocco, offre 12 ettari di aiuole, un grande labirinto di bosso con voliera-belvedere, un orto, un teatro verde, giochi d'acqua e alberi notevoli.
