La Gare di Grenoble-Universités-Gières è una stazione ferroviaria sulla linea Grenoble–Montmélian nella Grande Grenoble.
Inizialmente aperta con l'apertura della Ferrovia Grenoble–Montmélian, il suo traffico è gradualmente diminuito con il boom dell'automobile fino al punto in cui aveva un traffico quotidiano praticamente nullo e solo due treni al giorno. Pochi residenti di Gières conoscevano anche la sua esistenza e dopo molti anni di abbandono, nel 1982 la Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français decise di chiuderla, come avrebbe fatto con qualunque altra stazione in una regione deserta.
