Il Parco Paul Mistral è un parco urbano situato a Grenoble. Ha una superficie di 67 acri e ospita importanti strutture sportive e il municipio. Situato all'interno di un vecchio terreno di ingegneria militare, è stato creato grazie all'Esposizione Internazionale dell'Energia Idrica e del Turismo che si è svolta nel 1925. Nel 1836, dopo che il generale Haxo riuscì a costruire le mura della città, l'attuale area del parco venne utilizzata come luogo di ingegneria militare fuori dalla città per l'addestramento al tiro. Quindi, quest'area è riservata esclusivamente alle esigenze militari e non è consentita alcuna costruzione. In questa posizione c'era anche la porta, una delle cinque porte della città, la porta delle Alpi che consentiva alle persone di andare a Eybens o Vizille.
