Il castello di Freissinet o Frayssinet è un castello situato vicino al villaggio di Nayrac nell'Aveyron.
Frayssinet è un toponimo piuttosto comune in Linguadoca, il cui prototipo latino fraxinetum, che significa un frassino o un bosco di frassini, ha assunto innumerevoli forme a seconda dei periodi e dei luoghi. In Auvergne, Lozère, Quercy, Rouergue e Gasconia si trovano le varianti Fressinet, Freyssinet, Fraissinet, Freycinet, Fressinhe, ecc., la cui forma è stata stabilita solo con il catasto e le mappe della fine del XIX secolo. Nel dipartimento dell'Aveyron c'erano altre due proprietà feudali chiamate Frayssinet, una a Estaing, l'altra a Bor-et-Bar, appartenente alla famiglia Delpuech e poi alla famiglia de Morlhon.
