Durante la Seconda guerra mondiale, l'operazione Abercrombie consisteva in un raid dell'esercito canadese sulla piccola città costiera francese di Hardelot nel Pas-de-Calais. Inizialmente prevista per la notte tra il 18 e il 19 aprile 1942, si svolse infine nella notte tra il 21 e il 22 aprile, a causa del maltempo.
