La Quinta Repubblica francese è il nome che si attribuisce allo Stato dopo l'approvazione della settima costituzione repubblicana della Francia, che fu introdotta il 5 ottobre 1958 ed è ancora in vigore, seppur con qualche modifica. Essa nacque dalle ceneri della Quarta Repubblica francese, sostituendo un sistema parlamentare debole e diviso con un più forte e centralizzato sistema semipresidenziale.
