La Quinta República Francesa es el régimen republicano en vigor en Francia desde el 5 de octubre de 1958. La Quinta República sucedió a la Cuarta República instaurada en 1946.
En 1958, Charles de Gaulle encarga a su equipo preparar un proyecto de constitución, que fue aprobada en referéndum el 28 de septiembre de ese año: la Constitución del 4 de octubre de 1958, más conocida como Constitución de la Quinta República.
