Situata in un'antica casa padronale del XVIII secolo, La Corbillière è lo spazio espositivo della città di Mer (7.000 abitanti, a metà strada tra Blois e Orléans nel Loir et Cher). Questo spazio, che ha conosciuto una nuova dinamica da quando la città ne ha assunto la gestione nel 2015. La sua ambizione è quella di promuovere tutte le forme d'arte al maggior numero possibile di persone. Le tre sale di questo spazio presentano opere della fine del XIX e dell'inizio del XX secolo di artisti di Merois di fama internazionale, nazionale o locale: Alexandre Bigot, John Storrs, Pierre Loison, René Vallette, Ludovic Duclos? Cosa hanno in comune? Nati a Merois o adottati, hanno vissuto nello stesso periodo e hanno avuto una straordinaria carriera artistica.
