La Corbillière befindet sich in einem ehemaligen Landsitz aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und ist der Ausstellungsort der Stadt Mer (7000 Einwohner, auf halbem Weg zwischen Blois und Orléans im Departement Loir et Cher). Dieser Ort, der seit der Übernahme der Verwaltung durch die Stadt im Jahr 2015 eine neue Dynamik erfährt. Er hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, alle Kunstformen zu fördern, und zwar bei möglichst vielen Menschen. In den drei Sälen dieses Raums werden Werke aus dem späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert von international, national oder lokal bekannten Künstlern aus Meré ausgestellt: Alexandre Bigot, John Storrs, Pierre Loison, René Vallette, Ludovic Duclos? Was haben sie gemeinsam? Sie wurden in Mérois geboren oder adoptiert, lebten zur selben Zeit und hatten einen außergewöhnlichen künstle
