La grande plage, una delle più grandi spiagge di Biarritz, si estende da nord a sud della baia, tra l'Hôtel du Palais e il Bellevue. Nel cuore della città, con negozi, caffè e ristoranti nelle vicinanze.
Spiaggia accessibile alle sedie a rotelle (superfici inclinate). Per motivi igienico-sanitari, i cani non sono ammessi sulle spiagge di Biarritz durante tutto l'anno. Tuttavia, è prevista una deroga per le persone non vedenti accompagnate da un cane guida, previa presentazione del tesserino di invalidità al responsabile della stazione di salvataggio.
Stagione 2024
Dal 6/04 al 30/04 e dal 01/05 al 31/05: sorveglianza dalle 12:00 alle 18:00.
Dal 01/06 al 30/06: sorveglianza dalle 11 alle 19.
Dal 01/07 al 31/08: sorveglianza dalle 10 alle 20.
Dal 01/09 al 30/09: sorveglianza dalle 11 alle 19.
Dal 01/10 al 31/010: sorveglianza dalle 12.00 alle 18.00 e dal 01/11 al 03/11: dalle 12.00 alle 17.00
