Il lago di Pombonne fa parte di un parco naturale pubblico di 55 ettari, ideale per passeggiare ed esplorare l'ambiente naturale.
La balneazione è autorizzata e sorvegliata tutti i giorni dalle 11.30 alle 18.30, da sabato 6 luglio a domenica 1 settembre compresi.
Al di fuori di queste condizioni, la balneazione è formalmente vietata, a meno che non sia stata emessa un'ordinanza specifica. Gli animali non sono ammessi in piscina. I cani devono essere tenuti al guinzaglio.
Aperto da Pasqua a Ognissanti, 6 giorni a settimana in spiaggia dalle 9.00 alle 22.30 e in estate 7 giorni a settimana in spiaggia dalle 9.00 alle 23.00. La Guinguette offre cucina locale e serate musicali con palco aperto, a seconda del programma.
Il sito presenta anche un lago naturale con diversi osservatori per l'osservazione della fauna selvatica (soprattutto uccelli).
