Nell'ex giardino del monastero agostiniano, vicino ai resti della porta della chiesa e della sua torre ancora conservata, un incantevole giardino riporta in vita specie dimenticate utilizzate nel Medioevo dai monaci.
Questo giardino medievale è stato creato nel 2013, secondo l'orto monastico del "Plan de St Gall" (806) e le cui piante sono ispirate al Capitolare di Villis, creato su richiesta di Carlo Magno nel 795 per dare istruzioni per la gestione del territoriotra le raccomandazioni c'è un elenco di cento specie di piante che devono essere incluse nei giardini reali e monastici di tutto l'Impero Carolingio; queste piante, erbe, alberi, ecc. sono classificate in quattro categorie, l'hortus (orto), l'herbularius (il giardino dei semplici, piante medicinali), il frutteto (vigneto) e le piante utilitarie.
