Questo stagno è stato classificato come "area naturale sensibile" nel 2004. Si trova in una foresta di oltre 2 ettari creata nel 1480 per rifornire i mulini e le segherie dei dintorni. È aperto alla pesca dall'inizio di aprile all'11/11 (trota, lasca, tinca, carpa). Il bosco paludoso di ontani all'estremità dello stagno è riconosciuto di interesse europeo, con carici che formano i touradon (sorta di grandi ciuffi d'erba sollevati). Punto di partenza di un percorso naturalistico intorno allo stagno, con area picnic. Carte di pesca in vendita presso l'Ufficio del Turismo.
