Dieser Teich wurde 2004 als "empfindlicher Naturraum" klassifiziert. Er befindet sich in einem Wald mit einer Fläche von über 2 ha, der 1480 angelegt wurde, um die Mühlen und Sägewerke der Umgebung zu versorgen. Er ist von Anfang April bis zum 11.11. zum Angeln geöffnet (Forelle, Plötze, Schleie, Karpfen). Der sumpfige Erlenwald am Ende des Teichs ist von europäischem Interesse, da die Seggen hier Turadons (eine Art große, erhöhte Grasbüschel) bilden. Ausgangspunkt für einen Rundweg um den Teich, der für die Entdeckung der Natur eingerichtet wurde und einen Picknickbereich bietet. Angelkarten sind im Fremdenverkehrsamt erhältlich.
