Questa cappella è molto antica. Le fonti la citano già nel 1612, ma probabilmente è stata costruita prima.
È dedicata a Saint-Roch, un pellegrino che diede la vita per i poveri e i malati. Salvatosi miracolosamente dalla peste, Saint-Roch divenne un faro di speranza per tutti coloro che erano stati colpiti dalla malattia. Il villaggio, tormentato dall'epidemia nella prima metà del XVII secolo, decise di costruire questa cappella dedicata a Saint-Roch nella speranza di una guarigione. Padre Champion, un monaco di Les Riceys, officiò qui molte volte e implorò il santo patrono di salvare gli abitanti di Les Riceys. Le ossa di Padre Champion furono trasferite nella cappella nel 1875 per ricordare il suo ruolo a Riceys durante la terribile epidemia.
Poiché San Rocco viene festeggiato il 16 agosto, ogni anno si celebra una messa nella cappella in questo periodo.
