La chiesa fu costruita nella seconda metà del XIX secolo (dal 1855) dall'architetto Henri Bach per i Gesuiti. È in stile neogotico, dipinta e riccamente decorata, con vetrate di L. V Gesta. L'organo, costruito nel 1864 e classificato come monumento storico nel 1972, è un capolavoro del famoso organaro Cavaillé-Coll. Gli intenditori apprezzeranno i 24 stop suddivisi tra due tastiere manuali e una pedaliera. La chiesa è chiusa al pubblico, tranne che per gli eventi che vi si svolgono.
