Nel 1741, a Littry fu scoperto un filone di carbone, preludio di 200 anni di intensa attività industriale in questo tranquillo villaggio. Il Musée de la Mine (Museo della Miniera), che sarà completamente rinnovato nel 2021, racconta la storia di questa attività mineraria: vecchi attrezzi, una pompa antincendio dei fratelli Périer (1800), unica in Francia, la ricostruzione di una galleria della miniera, un modello del pozzo n. 5 di Bruay, scavi archeologici...
