All'esterno dei bastioni, il parco di Montreal ospita un pergolato a forma di stella ripiantato dopo la distruzione della tempesta del 1999. All'interno dei bastioni si trovano un "giardino basso" all'italiana, piantato con tassi bianchi e viola e hibiscus syriacus, un giardino alla francese su due terrazze, uno con rose, nepeta e salvia blu, l'altro con dalie rosse e gialle, e un piccolo giardino con fascine. Le pareti degli annessi sono alberate con rose rampicanti bianche o gialle: Mermaid, Madame Alfred Carrière, Gloire de Dijon, New Dawn.
